Our system uses artificial intelligence to detect diseases from aerial images taken by drones. When you upload the images, our AI model analyzes patterns in tree color, canopy texture, and spatial changes that are invisible to the human eye. It compares this data to thousands of known cases to determine the likelihood of infection. As our users submit more feedback, the model continuously improves. The result is a fast, accurate assessment that helps prioritize on-the-ground action.

Our models are very accurate and are contantly improving. Both our HWA and Oak Wilt detection models achieve above 90% accuracy in identifying infected trees from aerial images. This high level of precision helps ensure that land managers can trust the results for effective decision-making. As we gather more data and user feedback, we continuously refine and enhance our models to further boost accuracy and reliability.

We support standard image formats such as JPG, JPEG, PNG, and GIF because they are widely used in drone imaging and preserve essential visual data for analysis. These formats ensure compatibility across devices while maintaining the resolution needed for accurate oak wilt detection by our AI model.

The platform is designed for both individual and commercial forestry as oak wilt poses a serious threat at every scale—from single property owners to large land managers. In order to enable the best user experience for offline use, Edge Forestry is in the process of curating a proprietary device with our ai model and software. This device will allow for optimal remote use of our model and eliminate back and forth between sites.
